The Dana Foundation
The BrainWeb and Brain Resource Center

BrainWeb provides information and links to validated sites about brain diseases and disorders. Sites listed in BrainWeb detail more than 25 common brain diseases and disorders, and include some of the Internet’s best general neuroscience and health resources. The Brain Resource tool below quickly generates focused search results from the extensive Dana Foundation content library. Results include publications, reports, news articles and information about brain-related grants and events. The Brain Research Centre at the University of British Columbia
The Aging Brain Program is an interdisciplinary program in which Centre members, whose skills range from molecular biology to computer science, and whose interests span both basic and clinical investigations, have come together to develop a coordinated approach to helping our aging population. We investigate the aging brain:
  • To understand the effects of the aging process on brain function, behaviour, and cognition;
  • To develop new methods of prevention, treatment, and rehabilitation for age-related diseases;
  • To develop new strategies to promote successful aging in our population; and
  • To develop new research strategies to extend the human life span.
