EBIC provides an initial assessment interview with each client. This assessment interview takes two hours. During this assessment the client is asked about their interests and goals .

After an initial discussion, a questionnaire with specific questions about day to day activities is then given. For example, questions regarding memory, reasoning and processing tasks are reviewed with the client.

Upon completion, the qualitative information is analyzed and decisions regarding which brain exercises to initiate first are finalized. The client can then decide when they would be available to come into the office to work on their cognitive exercises.
